Non-Domestic Energy Assessor

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our rapidly growing team as a non-domestic energy assessor. This role will support our clients meet their legal obligations around the provision of Display Energy Certificates and Energy Performance Certificates. You will get to work with technical experts from a highly regarded consultancy, whilst developing skills and knowledge in a rapidly growing sector that offers great long-term security and career progression opportunities.

This role would ideally suit someone with a track record of delivery energy compliance works and experience of energy efficiency and carbon reporting.

Main responsibilities

  • Complete non-domestic energy assessments.

  • Undertake client kick off meetings and take responsibility for identifying data requirements and managing these through to receipt and analysis.

  • Strong organisation skills and ability to manage client delivery.

  • Use of SAP / Designbuilder software to produce DECs and EPCs.

  • Support programme wide data consolidation process.

  • Provide assistance and service cover in other energy related activities as required.

Requirements – experience

  • Be a qualified non-domestic energy assessor (minimum of level 4).

  • Have a full valid driving license and own car suitable for business (travel around the UK will be required).

  • The right to work permanently within the UK.

  • Experience of analysing energy billing and consumption data.

  • Client focused.

  • Excellent organisational and technical skills.

  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.

  • Will to learn - this role could be expanded to cover energy and carbon audits as part of your training and development programme.
